Security and
Confidentiality

How we keep your content and data secure
ISO 27001:2013
ISO 27001:2013 represents requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and the managing of sensitive information, including intellectual property.

With an ISMS in place, we ensure that the people handling sensitive assets and using our IT systems comply with the ISMS specifications.

Personal or sensitive client data are also secured in full compliance with ISO 27001:2013 and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Company-Owned Property
THE RIGHT WORDS owns its company building, which helps ensure the security and confidentiality of client and project-specific data through 24/7 video surveillance of the premises and other ISMS features.

We use a high-end in-house server room to store client data.
Service-Level Agreements (SLA) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
THE RIGHT WORDS operates under strict SLAs (Service-Level Agreements) and NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements) with all freelancers and other linguistic service suppliers engaging in translation and localization activities.

According to the mutually-binding collaboration agreements, all vendors receive and maintain all information disclosed to them or accessed by them (whether orally or in written or other tangible form or otherwise) relating to a customer or THE RIGHT WORDS itself, and all work they produce, in the strictest confidence. Vendors do not reproduce, disclose or divulge such information without the consent of the disclosing party.

Our freelance linguists process client data using our CAT solutions, with the data stored on our in-house servers.

We do not use cloud-based services to store client data unless specifically requested by the client. Instead, we store client data on our own servers for access by in-house staff, freelancers or clients.
